Avaya Widens Lead in IP Telephony Market

 

Avaya Also Retains Market Share Leadership in Worldwide Overall Enterprise Telephony Market.

(NYSE:AV) widened its lead in worldwide enterprise Internet protocol (IP) telephony revenues, according to Synergy Research Group's 2Q 2007 Enterprise Voice Market Shares Report.  With this report, Avaya marks another quarter of leadership in this market, as more businesses around the globe evolve their voice networks to IP telephony. Union Township Replaces Centrex, Saves Thousands Monthly, Through the New Contract Awarded to OSI for an IP Telephony System

 

Union, NJ: The Union Township Board of Education has approved the proposal for the purchase and installation of a new telephone system from Office Solutions, Inc., of  Warren, NJ. The new system, worth over $300,000 replaces the Township's old Centrex System and will immediately start saving the District over $2,500 every month. The system includes an Avaya S8500 server, with an S8300/G700 Server/Gateway combination, networking the township's 12 locations together via IP Telephony and powering a new modular messaging system.

Warren School System Wants a Phone System With Safety Features

 

OSI recommends an Avaya telephone system which delivers new ways to increase safety. It's included in budget.

 

Office Solutions, Inc. (OSI) announced today that a new telephone system has been included into the 2008 -2009 budget for the Warren School System. As part of a multi-year improvement plan for the district, the new system would significantly improve the safety capability available through the telephone system.
